NFL fans will have a massive game on the slate in Week 8 as the day closes out with an NFC East rivalry game: Philadelphia will come off a bye to take on Dallas and in a division that is so tight, each game counts.

Cowboys Eagles Odds – Sunday, 8:20 PM ET

The Cowboys (3-3) rolled over hapless St. Louis 34-7, and DeMarco Murray had a monster day with 253 yards. This allowed Dallas to take some pressure off of Tony Romo and the defense did the rest, but price per head sports fans will be running to the waiver wire in their fantasy pool to snag Murray, if he wasn’t gone by the first half of this game.

The Eagles (2-4) should be rested after a bye, and they looked like a cohesive football team in a 20-13 win over Washington two weeks ago. Hopes were high for the Eagles coming into this season, and the pressure may have gotten to them early on, but there is too much talent on this team to finish below .500 and the bye may have come at the right time, allowing quarterback Michael Vick to rest and the coaches to work on some new schemes.

Philadelphia is a 3.5-point favorite at home in this huge contest, even though they’re 2-3 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five meetings against the Cowboys at home with the last two falling under the posted total. The Philadelphia secondary has been much maligned this year, but they’ll get some chances to pick off Romo, while Murray won’t have a repeat performance of last week, not even close.
