Week two of the NFL betting lines season is here and with it there are a couple of key matchups to look forward to. While the stage has been set for the Houston Texans to make a run in the AFC South, the Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders have their work cut out for them just to remain in contention as they get set to clash at Orchard Park.

Oakland Raiders @ Buffalo Bills

The Raiders and Bills have both improved on paper heading into this season, but they will need to win with consistency before anyone gives them a chance. Oakland has all of the tools to be successful, but they have not been able to find the perfect sports betting balance between the run and pass, and just when it seems like the offense is clicking the defense gives up a big play. Ryan Fitzpatrick will make his home debut as the starting quarterback for a full season, and he will be looking to test that Raiders’ secondary early and often with Steve Johnson going deep.

Houston Texans @ Miami Dolphins

Sunday, 4:15 PM ET

The Texans will open the road portion of their schedule with a fishing visit to the Dolphins, hoping to continue their push for a division crown. Miami will play this game on short rest and could be exposed if the running game doesn’t get going this week. The Dolphins banked hard on the tandem of rookie Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush, and this could be the week that they realize the risk was not worth it.
