When Michael Vick took to the field for an injured Kevin Kolb early on last season, few would have projected the MVP talk, division title, and appointment as the Philadelphia Eagle’s franchise quarterback in just one year. That is the case however as Vick looks to clinch more than just an NFC East title in his second sports betting year as the team’s starter.

Philadelphia will have a ton of competition as the usually crowded NFC East offers the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Washington Redskins to contend with them for the top spot. The Cowboys will have Tony Romo back and a new head coach in Jason Garrett, while Eli Manning and the Giants have proven already that they have the talent to make a legitimate run. This may not be the year that Washington finally breaks through, but no game will come easy to an Eagles’ team with a ton of Pro Bowl talent. Ultimately, their success rests on the broad shoulders of Vick, who electrified fans with his play both in and outside of the pocket an NFL picks year ago, showing the hybrid talent that he has worked so hard to become. Vick will have a ton of options with Shady McCoy and DeSean Jackson among others to work with, and when you factor in a top defense Philadelphia becomes the obvious choice to emerge from the NFC East.
