sxp98101801Aside from betting on NFL games, there are few more enjoyable things then actually attending a live game. Whether you are NFL betting online or in person, going to a game and cheering for your team is one thing every fan should get to experience. But when you get to the game there are plenty of things you should avoid doing. Here are our top five things to avoid doing when you attend an NFL game.

1. Get Your Team’s Logo Tattooed – Ok we get it, you are a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns, but really a tattoo? You’ve probably seen it before, that one fan who claims they are a diehard of a terrible team and nobody believes them. Only thing is when you see these guys at games, they are usually the ones with tattoos. Now we aren’t saying we are against tattoos, just you might be going too far if you feel getting your favorite team’s logo tattooed on your arm is the way to show how much you enjoy them.

2. Yell At People Who Stand Up – Over the years we’ve been to a lot of football games, and from firsthand experience we can tell you, that being yelled at for standing up is never a fun experience. What we suggest is rather than yell at people who stand you stand too. Think about it, if the star quarterback or running back either air out a pass or run down the field for a huge gain, you will stand up and cheer. So get up and enjoy the action rather than ruin it for others.

3. Leave Early – Ok so we realize this game has turned into a blowout and you want to beat the traffic back home, but really you’re leaving? One of the biggest pet peeves of players is that their home fans leave during a game. Whether it’s a blowout or a close game you can almost guarantee a lot of people will leave during the game. Instead you should stick around as anything can happen in a game.

4. Wear A Different Sport’s Jersey – Alright the game is football not hockey, so why are you wearing a New York Rangers sweater at a Jets game? Just because you own a sports jersey, doesn’t mean you have to wear it to a sporting event. Plain clothes are just as fine, or better yet buy your team’s jersey at the stadium.

5. Over Drink – So your team is down by three touchdowns, doesn’t justify getting absolutely hammered. If you drove to the game you want to be sober after and get home safely. We’ve all been Bills fans, but even with all that alcohol we know it’s better to arrive home alive.
