There is certainly no shortage of interest in Donovan McNabb this off-season. Reports indicate that Cleveland, Denver and Buffalo have all had conversations with the Eagles regarding McNabb, and expressed interest in the Philadelphia quarterback. Sources close to the situation also reveal that interest in QB Kevin Kolb is high, with numerous teams expected to vie for his services. What Philadelphia ends up doing remains to be seen, but it could mean tremendous benefit for Cleveland should they aggressively pursue either of these QBs.

In other Cleveland news, the Browns have officially terminated Donte Stallworth’s contract. The wide receiver was reinstated by the NFL following Sunday’s Super Bowl after being suspended for the 2009 season by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Stallworth pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter relating to a March 14th accident that killed a pedestrian. Following his release, Stallworth posted an enigmatic message to his twitter account expressing his love for Browns new general manager Tom Heckert. Stallworth’s future is uncertain at this time.

Finally, reports are surfacing that Carolina Panther Julius Peppers might be off to a new home this off-season – could that new home be Cleveland? The Browns are listed among Atlanta and Washington as potential suitors for Peppers, but Cleveland’s need for defensive ends might make the difference. His signing to the Browns would definitely cause online betting outlets to re-examine their projections regarding the Browns’ defensive game. In other signing news, the Browns have signed CB John Bowie to a future contract after his release from the Oakland Raiders in September. Despite a short career plagued by injuries, Bowie’s speed could prove invaluable.
